Unlike earlier needle rollers, Dermapen® uses a sterile, one-use-only needle cartridge inserted into a pen-like device. The fine surgical steel microneedles are adjustable ranging from 0.25 to 2.5 mm in length.
These microneedles penetrate the upper (epidermis) and lower (dermis) layers of the skin at targeted and specific depth, causing controlled microscopic wounds and pin point bleeding. This process kick starts the body’s own wound healing response, which results in the release of cellular messengers that in turn increase fibroblast (collagen producing cells) activity.

In preparation for treatment, avoid sun exposure on your face, and don’t apply makeup. After treatment, your skin will appear sunburned and might feel tighter and warmer than usual. This is typical and will subside after one to two hours, and total recovery is usually 24 hours.
The depth of treatment can be adjusted and will vary according to your need. Pricing varies and will be determined at consult. Book your microneedling consultation today with one of our experienced professionals.
