Anything I should know before my appointment?
Avoid aspirin and fish oil three days prior to your appointment
If you’re prone to cold sores, we are able to prescribe you 1g of Valtrex, 1 capsule per day for three days prior to your appointment.
How long until I see results?
Revanesse Filler’s results can be seen immediately after injection!
Of course there is some swelling, redness, and on rare occasion bruising involved, but results are seen right from your initial appointment. It takes about 2-4 weeks for filler to settle and to be able to see your final results!
What is the difference between revanesse filler and juvederm?
Microscopically, Revanesse particles are noticeably smoother and rounder than Juvederm, causing a smoother more natural appearance than juvederm.
How long does it last?
Revanesse Filler has been proven to last for 10-14 months
Is there downtime?
Very little downtime! After your treatment swelling, redness, and bruising might occur, but is known to only last 4-7 days.
What is the after care?
- Avoid touching the treated area for 4-6 hours after treatment.
- Until swelling and redness goes down, do not apply any heat to treated area
- Only take tylenol for discomfort
- Avoid alcohol for 12 hours after treatment, and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated
- To help with bruising and swelling, you can ice gently for up to 3 hours post treatment
